40 Reasons Why Your Diet Does Work

There was an article in the Daily Mail this week called 40 reasons why your diet does not work. With all the temptations of processed foods and ambiguous information out there it would be nice to hear something positive about our lives. So I decided to write my positive take on the article, 40 the positive reasons why your diet do the job..... because

1. You realize that you own your own health is wealth and you alone are solely responsible for it.
2. You eat protein at every meal including breakfast, eggs are most common.
3. You rarely contain caffeine and you no longer use it as a stimulant to get you through the days of tired. Caffeine affects the function of your adrenal glands that produce hormones that most affect the development and growth, affect our ability to cope with stress and help to regulate kidney function.

4. You no longer eat bread. Bread has a nice label such as wheat and barn, but the processed carbohydrates that are major contributors to body fat.
5. You read and understand food labels and ingredients.
6. You've eliminated sugar drinks and fruit juices to keep the minimum because you know it's packed with sugar.
7. You season your food well, especially with pepper. Pepper has been known to curb hunger.
8. You eat yoghurt natural yoghurt, but the ONLY full-fat life.
9. You get along with people you want to be like - all your friends to follow a healthy nutritional plan.
10. You have other interests besides the cookbooks and events.
11. You chew each mouthful of food about 20-25 times. Digestion begins in the mouth of the rubber phase. Chewing also relaxes the body and stop you hurry up and eat on the run.
12. You stick to your own game plan and ignore the temptation to treat or you see around you.
13. When you eat you always serve your food on your favorite pot to remind you how special you are - it really works for me.
14. Your bedroom is a relaxing space that encourages sleep and you enjoy 8-9 hours of sleep a night.
15. When you start your diet sort of support from other people and or a friend's diet. Id support you have to encourage and motivate you in your journey.
16. When you refuse to treat / etc cake you've always done in a positive way, 'I do not eat cake, thank you'
17. You look in the mirror and see what is reflected back. By looking at yourself in the mirror you remind yourself why you do it and when you continue to lose weight you can see and congratulate yourself.
18. You are socialable person with many friends and many interests.
19. You are always at your dinner table and the television is turned off.
20. You try to keep stress minimal. And if you feel stressed your crawled on measures to reduce the story immediately. Ask me about stress-busting techniques.
21. You consistently buy seasonal vegetables and fruit with enough variety to keep the food interesting, but not overwhelmed with choices and flavors.
22. You know that in times of emotional upheaval relationship breakup, you choose not to entertain eat to cope with stress and anxiety.
23. You choose a slow melodic music at mealtime. Restauarants nice that you want to enjoy the food they play relaxing music to create a peaceful environment. Other food outlets to exchange food for money play music faster to make you eat faster and then the people out more quickly so more can enter
24. You do not stick to one type of exercise.
25. You exercise with other poeple either in class or seek the services of a personal trainer - you know you get better results this way.
26. You are not afraid to lift heavy weights to increase your metabolism. NOTE: before you start weight training make sure you get some expert advice.
27. You are not keeping up with the same pattern of exercise, you always make a change and challenge yourself and varying the amount of time you spend exercising.
28. You know the right foods to eat after exercise is good fat and protein and certain carbohydrates. Chicken and avocado, but no one may actually good.
29. You have or are working with a personal trainer to exercise the most effective and beneficial for the outcome you want to achieve.
30. You make the effort to go out for a workout, never do it at home.
31. You notice a change in your body and knkow that as we get older we may need to change our practice accordingly.
32. You always work out with a beat up, up tempo music for motivation.
33. You do not like the smell of processed foods.
34. You are fully responsible for your body and the way it functions.
35. You respect yourself and know that you deserve to get the body you want.
36. You have chosen to make your diet work.
37. You do not eat low fat / no fat foods because you know that all the good that has been taken and replaced with refined sugar.
38. You know that good fats are very important in your diet. Olive oil (not for cooking) and avocados are good sources of fat.
39. You follow the plan that if it grows you can eat.
40. You want your diet to work.
